“The Girl Who Makes A Move” (Part V)

Emotions are running high in the K&GI overseas villa, as the contestants try to unwind before what’s sure to be a dramatic elimination. Some people are happy with the outcome of the challenge, while others are disappointed and even angry with the way that things turned out. Most of the contestants gather in the living room for a chat.

Jessie: I’m more than a little shocked, truly. The bottom is full of people I would have never expected to see there!

Marjan: On the bright side, at least you and I are going to last for another episode!

Jessie: *whispering* Marjan, Kyungri’s right there…

Marjan: Eeek, I’m sorry Kyungri!

Kyungri: It’s fine, girls, I deserve to be in the bottom this time. I really messed up. *sighs* I lose sight of the money ONCE and I find myself with the lessers. I let everything get to me and HERE I am. I deserve to be sent home for all of this, honestly. There’s no getting around it. A boss bitch like me should never let anything get her down.

Jessie: Really, it’s not that bad…

Kyungri: It IS though. I promised myself I would never be down here again and I let one stupid challenge get the best of me!

Marjan: Well, at least you’re not Enzo…

Jessie: Oooh, speaking of that… why did you choose him? I thought you two were all right with each other… no?

Marjan: I would prefer to keep my reasons for choosing him to myself, if you don’t mind.

Jessie: Oh come on, just tell us! You know that it’s going to get out eventually.

Kyungri: Yeah, just tell us! It would take my mind off my own failures for a minute or so.

Marjan: Girls, I really wish I could tell you. I really do. But the eagle is watching. I can’t let anything slip.

Kyungri: Marjan, you’re infuriating. You drive me insane!

Marjan: I tend to do that to people… sometimes plumbing the depths of my pipes brings up a darkness that others don’t seem to like…

Jessie: Marjan, really, you know you can trust us, right? You don’t have to keep everything to yourself.

Kyungri: I mean, don’t trust us with your life *cackles* but a little secret or two wouldn’t hurt!

Marjan: Oh, but they would hurt. They would hurt like someone ripped off your arm and smeared salt into the stump…

Jessie: She’s heading for a meltdown, that girl. I know that she doesn’t want to tell any of us what’s happening, but something’s gotta give, and soon. I’m worried for her!

Louise has been buzzing after her secret midnight kiss with Branden. She’s told no one yet, but her sudden change from being sad and insecure to being giddy and pleased does not go unseen.

Gabriel: What’s got you so happy?

Louise: Oh, you know… things are going well!

Gabriel: Yeah, definitely! I’m happy you did so well this week.

Louise: Well, that too. Er… there are other things going on.

Gabriel: Like what?

Louise: You don’t wanna know! *giggles* I’ll tell you soon, maybe.

Gabriel: I’m happy for her, she seems to be excited about something… but a couple days ago she was avoiding looking at me because of what she had told me, and she seemed really down, and now she’s giggling like a high schooler? It’s obviously great that she seems to have moved on from me so quickly, but… how did she do it? I’m not sure how to feel about this. I know this sounds stupid but I don’t know what to think.

Meanwhile, Kyungri continues to sulk and tries to blow off some steam by trying to get the details on why Enzo was surprisingly placed in the bottom.

Kyungri: You must have done something to her! She wouldn’t have put you in the bottom otherwise. It’s not like you’re the biggest competition to her, so why would she do it?

Enzo: Well, aside from that shade you decided to throw, I agree. I don’t know what I did to her to make her put me here, but nobody seems to know anything about her. Do you know any details about her life?

Kyungri: She always seems to revert to sharing silly anecdotes whenever we’re having a serious talk, or she gets weirdly dark and doesn’t give direct answers. I can’t read her.

Enzo: There’s something there, but I don’t really care anymore.

Kyungri: Are you nervous about the elimination?

Enzo: I hope that the fans will save me! I think I’ve made a good impression, so I’m crossing my fingers that I’ve been charming enough.

Kyungri: Well, good luck to you. Matthieu is tough competition and I’m even tougher. Watch out!

Enzo: *scoffs* Thanks.

Matthieu: *voiceover* I don’t like being jealous. I don’t consider myself to be a jealous person. I dunno, something about the way that that other boy threw himself on Harrison is just rubbing me the wrong way and I really should just let him know how I feel. I look like a possessive idiot and I hate it! Ugh, I wish it wasn’t this way…

Matthieu: Babe, there’s something I should tell you…

Harrison: Matt! I was just looking for you. Come, sit! I’ve missed you.

Matthieu: We’ve only been apart for an hour or so!

Harrison: I don’t care, you know I miss you whenever you’re not next to me. What did you want to tell me?

Matthieu: Um… I… just wanted to tell you that I miss you too.

Harrison: You cheesy boy! Didn’t we just see each other an hour ago, hmm? Hmmmmmm?

Matthieu: All right, all right! You got me. I miss you every second you’re gone, there. Are you happy now?

Harrison: Oh, I know you do. I’m a treat and you’re a hungry boy, aren’t you?

Matthieu: Oh, are you now?

Harrison: High quality and baked in the best cake shop in town…

Marjan: *voiceover* I hate that I’ve been put in this position. I know that he’s going to suffer if I don’t keep going. I’m doing this for him, and I’m doing it for me. Just knowing that he’s over there, with those people, while I’m forced to be here playing around like a puppet on a string… I hate all of it. I’ve been pacing around, cleaning like crazy because I feel like if anyone else tries to ask me what’s going on, I’m going to crack and spill everything. And I will NOT spill anything. I’ve come so far. I can do it. *stops to think while footage of her spraying various houseplants plays* I’m going to be strong for the both of us, little turtle.

ajmkv: Hello housemates, I’m so pleased to finally see all of you again! I know I’ve been here in spirit and in post-production Photoshop, but it’s thrilling to see all of your faces after such a long time!

Kyungri: *under her breath* I preferred it when you weren’t here, to be honest…

Harrison: *grumbling* I wish you had been poorly Photoshopped into the group picture again…

ajmkv: I’m going to pretend you’re all thrilled to see me, because I know you all must be. Welcome to the seventh elimination ceremony, where one of you will be going home, leaving only seven contestants in the running!  Let me list the prizes once more: the winner will stomp off into the sunset with 1,000,000 Simoleons, a brand new home, their own TV show on SimTV, and will also be the face of SimNation Media Corp. for a whole year. I bet you’d all do things you’re not proud of for prizes like those!

How are you all feeling?

Marjan: *voiceover* I’m just standing there wishing ajmkv would stop talking and just send someone home already. He always makes such a big deal about everything and it’s more annoying than even I am!

Enzo: *voiceover* Crickets… no one said anything. I, for one, am not going to say a thing.

ajmkv: Well… I guess no one is going to say anything. That must mean that you’re feeling incredible! It’s so heartwarming to see so much enthusiasm. I just love it! In fact, let me take a selfie to commemorate this beautiful moment, finally reunited with my favorite contestants! Say cheese everyone!

ajmkv: Excellent! Well, now that we have that out of the way, let’s get this elimination going. Kyungri, can you please step forward?

ajmkv: Kyungri, I know it’s hard for you to be back in the bottom. However, you did give a spectacularly awful performance at the challenge this week, so it’s not a surprise for us to see you here.

Kyungri: I know, I know. And can I just say to my fans, I am so sorry. I know you look up to me and follow me and try to emulate me, so I am sorry to disappoint. If you save me, I promise that this won’t happen again.

ajmkv: Well, Kyungri, you better be ready to hold on to that promise because… you’re safe!

Kyungri: YES! Thank you, Shaman Unnie! And the fans! You’re incredible!

ajmkv: Kyungri, you were the favorite in the fan vote, however you barely edged out the competition. Please step it up in the coming weeks, so that your fans won’t be disappointed.

Kyungri: I promise. You can all expect to see the best version of myself: ready to win and ready to do anything to make it happen! We’ll make it rain millions over ourselves, my dear fans!

ajmkv: Great to hear! Now, will the Bottom 2 please come forth? Enzo, Matthieu, please.

ajmkv: I’m really sad to see you both here. Matthieu, you’ve been on a high during most of this competition, but it has seemed that you’re now coasting, concerned about other things happening in the competition and in the bedroom.

Matthieu: *coughs* That’s… kind of true. I’m sorry.

ajmkv: And Enzo, I know you’re disappointed. All this time, you’ve been flying high, never once landing in the bottom, and in fact, you’d have avoided being here if you hadn’t been placed here…

Enzo: *under his breath* Isn’t that some bullsh*t.

ajmkv: …and for that, I am terribly sorry. But, sadly, that’s the way the biscotti crumbles on this show.

Matthieu: Enzo, I really hope you get to stay. You’ve done so well and you deserve to stay. 

Enzo: It’s all right, Matt. I’ve accepted my fate. It’s not your fault. It’s just unfair.

ajmkv: All right. I’m sorry to have to announce this, but them’s the rules. The person who is safe received 35% of the vote, and the eliminee only received 26%. Matthieu!

 

Marjan: *voiceover* I know it seems awful­… I put him in the bottom when he didn’t deserve it, and now he’s going home because of me. It’s for the best, really. One day, I hope I’ll be able to come out and explain why I did it, but for now I hope he’s not too angry at me, but he was getting too close. He had to go.

ajmkv: That means that Enzo, you’re going home tonight. Even though your fans were vocal in their support, you didn’t get enough votes to keep you here. I’m sorry.

Enzo: *voiceover* I’m trying to play it cool, you know, not having a meltdown like some of the other people who have left, but… I’m heartbroken. I didn’t want to go home yet, not when I was feeling so confident in myself. This isn’t what I had seen happening, and I’m really sad about it. I had so much more to show!…

ajmkv: Enzo, I’m truly sorry that you have to go. I wanted to see more of you here! I know you had and still have so much more to show us…

Enzo: Well, that’s just how it goes, right? There was no way to have been able to prevent this, was there? It’s not like you’re writing this show or anything…

ajmkv: I know you’re angry at me, and rightfully so, but I have good news for you. And this is bad news for everyone else, so gather round, everybody! Enzo, you have the possibility to come back into the competition very soon…

Enzo: No joke, huh?

ajmkv: Nope! You and all the other eliminees will soon get your chance to get your revenge on the other housemates and return to the competition, so you better stay ready. *Kyungri groans audibly.*

Enzo: Well, in that case, you and everyone else better know that I’m not going anywhere!

ajmkv: *whispers* Well, technically you DO have to leave today, but you’ll be back later… you’ll be eliminated until you’re not, if you get lucky!

Enzo: I guess, then, that it’s OK. I’m not too mad… because you all know that I’m going to try my hardest to come back and take one of your spots!

Jessie: Yeah Enzo, that’s the spirit! *everyone but Kyungri and Marjan cheers*

Kyungri: You can try, sure, but we’ll see about your chances to return…

Enzo: And you, you big oaf, you took my spot! Don’t think I’ll be forgetting about it anytime soon! *laughs and hugs Gabriel*

Gabriel: I hope I can make it up to you somehow!

Enzo: Oh, you know, when I come back and take YOUR spot. Then we’ll be even.

Gabriel: *laughs* It’s on, Ennie boy. 

Enzo: *rolls his eyes and laughs* You take care now, stupid.

Harrison: Boy, am I happy you’re still here…

Matthieu: It’s not my time yet… the universe wants us to be together and we can take advantage of that for as long as we can!

Harrison: You’re such a cheeseball. I love it.

Enzo says goodbye to the rest of his friends and starts to walk away, but as he’s reaching the front gate, he hears someone calling his name.

Marjan: Enzo, wait!

Marjan races to catch up to him, with a desperate look in her eyes. She looks like she’s about to cry, and can’t seem to find the words to say at first.

Marjan: I don’t want you to go without me apologizing first. I know I’m a weirdo and I don’t make sense most of the time, but I’m really angry at myself that I had to do this to you.

Enzo: Well, it was an awful thing to do to someone who thought he was your friend.

Marjan: You are, I swear! I just… one day I’ll be able to explain it to you, but for now I can’t say anything.

Enzo: It’s fine. I’ll get over it someday.

Marjan: We’ll be seeing each other soon, hopefully!

Enzo: That we will. Take care, Marjan. Let someone in before you go crazy. *He walks away.*

Marjan: *whispers* But I can’t…

Enzo: *voiceover* So I’m leaving the house today, and I feel upset and more than a little bit bitter, but honestly I also feel good. I think I’ve given a good impression of myself, overall, and I hope that people can see that I’m a fun and loving person. I just got in my own head a little too much while I was here! *chuckles* I loved every moment here, and I’ll be so happy to come back whenever for a chance to return to the competition. I hope you all will continue to enjoy seeing my goofy face! See you all very soon.
