The evening of the ninth elimination ceremony arrives rather quickly. The housemates have spent most of their time after the call-out portion of the week just relaxing and spending time with each other. Aside from Kyungri, who’s not talking much to anyone else, everyone seems calm and ready for what’s to come. At 6 PM, once the fan votes have been tallied and ajmkv is ready to announce who will leave the house this week, the housemates head to the patio to hear the news. Everyone stands while ajmkv poses with them and then the elimination ceremony begins.

In a different part of the set, Marjan is getting ready for her scenes. She’s worried because she got the biggest part of the series: the titular character, Paloma. She’s nervous that she’s not going to perform to the best of her ability… if she even has any! She’s never acted professionally before, so she’s very nervous. Once on the set, however, she brings out an energy that the director and the producers weren’t expecting. Continue reading ““The Boy Who Hits The Spot” (Part IV)”
Late that afternoon, the contestants gather to practice their lines together. Everyone’s in a good mood, and the rehearsal quickly turns into a lively chat. Each of the contestants seems to really like the others, and this is noticeable in their interactions. Kyungri and Harrison are sitting close to each other, laughing at Gabriel’s jokes, while Marjan looks calm for a change, sitting next to a jolly China. Gabriel has his arm around Louise, who looks pleased at the little show of attention. The hours stretch into the evening, and they’re still sitting there, enjoying the company and not worrying about the looming challenge and elimination. For a few hours, they’re just six friends sitting and having fun. Continue reading ““The Boy Who Hits The Spot” (Part III)”

Season 2: Episode 10
Previously, on K&GI: The remaining housemates were shocked when the eliminated contestants returned for a chance to re-enter the competition. Old rivalries were revisited, buried romances bloomed once more, and a roast challenge had everyone nervous about the outcome. After many laughs and more than one cringeworthy performance, China won the comeback and returned to the competition, and took on Kyungri for the challenge win. However, Kyungri was on fire and had everyone in stitches, so she snatched the win. In the house, China turned down an opportunity to rekindle her romance with Gabriel after she saw the tension between him and Louise, and the weird vibes rippled through the house. However, Gabriel finally reciprocated Louise’s affections and the two began their own romance. At the elimination, Marjan, Jessie, and Matthieu were in the Bottom 3 but Marjan once more proved that she is a firm favorite by winning the vote. Matthieu and Jessie, who had been insecure about their respective positions in the competition, faced a shock when they were both sent home in the first ever double elimination on K&GI, bringing an end to #Matthison and leaving Harrison devastated to see his man go home. Only six contestants remain; who will be sent home next? Continue reading ““The Boy Who Hits The Spot” (Part I)”
It’s the night after the call-out ceremony. The eliminated contestants that didn’t succeed in coming back are leaving the next afternoon, and they’re enjoying one last night together with the rest of their housemates. Marjan looks for Mitchell, who’s not hanging out with the group. She finds him outside, looking at the nature around him.

The fourth round of the challenge begins, and Louise is facing China next. She doesn’t feel too good after seeing Harrison rip into Gabriel, and this has made her feel less confident. China, on the other hand, is still riding on a high after she’s officially back in the competition. She wants to win the whole challenge, and now she feels like she can do it for sure. She also has an ace up her sleeve. Continue reading ““The Girl Who Judges Everyone” (Part V)”

In another part of the house, China and Gabriel have finally left the table together and head straight to one of the unused bedrooms. After having looked at each other all night, they think it’s time to have a private conversation in a place where no one else can see them. The conversation, though, turns out to not be what Gabriel was expecting.
